Pay day super starts today! All payrolls processed from today need to comply and superannuation payments need to be paid at the same time that staff are paid, this also includes related party employees.
Penalties for non-compliance are quite harsh and include an administrative penalty of up to 60% on top of the outstanding late super payment and a further 25% penalty if it then takes longer than 28 days to correct.
Contact your accountant or payroll processer to ensure you are ready to go.

Time is running out for any additional superannuation contributions that you may want to make, as most funds have a cut off date of 20 June. If you are in pension phase don't forget to meet your minimum pension requirements. If you have any questions about these contributions please do not hesitate to contact your accountant.
