Qld Government have announced the next round of Business Growth Fund applications.

The Queensland Government is proud to support the ambitions of innovative small and family businesses, helping them unlock their potential and achieve growth.

To help, the Business Growth Fund has returned, offering eligible small and family businesses the opportunity to secure grants of between $50,000 and $75,000. This funding is designed to support the purchase of specialised equipment and systems that small and family businesses need to grow, increase productivity and efficiency, increase market share or develop and expand export opportunities.

Whether it’s advanced manufacturing tools, state-of-the-art logistics solutions, or transformative digital technologies, this grant is your chance to take your business to the next level.

A co-contribution of at least 50% is required from small and family business participants.

Emergency Hardship Assistance grants are now available to residents who have been affected by the recent severe weather and flooding in the following areas:

- Gympie Regional Council
- Ipswich City Council
- Lockyer Valley Regional Council
- Moreton Bay Regional Council
- North Burnett Regional Council (Dallarnil)
- Somerset Regional Council
- Parts of Brisbane City Council
- Parts of Logan City Council
- Parts of Noosa Council

Emergency Hardship Assistance grant applicants must:
- live or be stranded in the targeted activation zone
- have suffered hardship as a result of the event
- be unable to meet their immediate essential needs for food, clothing, medical supplies or temporary accommodation

Emergency Hardship Assistance grants are not income- or asset-tested. If you are deemed eligible, you may receive $180 per person up to $900 for a family of five or more.

There are three ways you can apply:
- Visit www.qld.gov.au/SEQRecoveryGrants to check your eligibility, find out what documents you need, and apply online
- Phone the Community Recovery Hotline on 1800 173 349
- Visit a Community Recovery Hub if one has been set up in your area
