💰 Unnecessary costs – Fees can be double or triple the actual fee.
🌪️ Loss of control – Some providers update the ASIC records to their own details; this can interfere with Quality Accountings ability to manage your affairs.

🕵🏻‍♂️Security risks – There is a risk of scams or misuse of personal or financial information.

📅 Mark your renewal date on your calendar – Quality Accounting will send your Annual Statement & Invoice 60 days before the invoice is due.
⚠️ Be cautious of unsolicited contact- Ignore letters or emails from unknown providers, especially those not using a .gov.au domain.
‼️ Report scams – Forward suspicious emails to ASIC and delete them.

Changes to Long Service Leave for Community Services Industry Workers

ℹ️ Long service leave now follows workers across the industry between different employers or contracts.

If you employ people in community services in NSW, you may need to register with Long Service Corporation.

👉 Employers should:
✔ Check whether your work is covered by the scheme (it depends on the type of work performed)
✔ Register your business
✔ Lodge quarterly returns
✔ Pay a levy on wages

👉 Sole traders / contractors:
✔ Can choose to opt into the scheme.

The FBT year wraps up today (31 March), and this is one of those small things that can make a big difference to your tax.

✔ Snap a photo of your odometer
✔ Save it somewhere safe
✔ Make sure your logbook is up to date
