From 1 July 2026, the Australian Government is introducing "Payday Super" 💸

This means employers will be required to pay their employees' superannuation guarantee (SG) at the same time as their salary and wages, rather than the current quarterly system.

Here's what you need to know to stay ahead:

🕑 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝘆 - Super contributions must reach the employee's fund within 7 business days of payday.
⚙️ 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 - You’ll need to ensure your payroll software is configured for more frequent reporting and payments.
💲 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 - Moving from quarterly to weekly or fortnightly payments may impact your bank balance, so start planning your budget now.
