We’re seeing more of these “Company Review” letters being sent out. Please note these letters are from a third-party company, not ASIC. We’ve included an example of the letter.
They often charge hundreds of dollars for something you can do yourself, at a much lower fee. They are designed to look official and urgent, however, they are not a bill. You do not have to pay any money.
Important:
This is not your ASIC annual review invoice. It states (in the red highlighted fine print) that you are not required to make payment.
What you should do instead:
Wait for your actual ASIC annual review notice, or go directly through us, or ASIC yourself.
If you’re ever unsure, send it through to us before paying anything — we’re happy to check it for you 😁
