‼️ Paying super now happens in line with each payday, just like wages.

Here’s what matters now:
✨ the 7-day rule.
Super must be paid within 7 business days after payday
✨ your pay cycle remains the same.
If you’re paid weekly, your super is processed weekly too (not quarterly)
✨ the amount of super is the same. It’s just the frequency that’s changed.

👉 When your super hits your fund sooner, it has more time to grow over your working life.
It also makes it easier to spot unpaid super👀 (and take quick action if something doesn’t look right).

All withholding schedules and tax tables have been updated. The changes apply from 1 July 2026.

If you employ staff, take note of the changes. Make sure you know how much you need to withhold from the payments you make to your employees and other workers.
