Yesterday, our team came together across all Carey Group offices to support The Biggest Morning Tea, raising funds and awareness for the Cancer Council and the important work they do.

We’re pleased to have Carey Group Partner Peter Cavallo joining the panel at this upcoming event at JCU’s Engineering & Innovation Building on 3rd June.

The panel brings together local leaders across finance, management, advocacy and business to share practical insight and honest perspectives on what really happens inside the industry. We’re proud to continue our long‑standing sponsorship of Teachers West Rugby Union Club and our support of a local club that brings people together through sport.

Grassroots clubs rely on the ongoing backing of their local community, and partnerships like this are incredibly important to us. It’s been great to see our Carey Group branded water bottles in use by the players at training and games as another season gets underway. We’ll be following their progress and cheering them on again this year.

Carey Group was proud to once again support the Cattle Handling and Judging School run by Calvary Christian College over the weekend, alongside a number of other local businesses across North Queensland.

Following a successful first year, it was great to see the program continue to grow, giving students the opportunity to build practical skills, learn from experienced industry professionals and gain confidence ahead of the show season.

Initiatives like this play an important role in supporting the future of agriculture in our region. Creating opportunities for young people to connect with the industry, develop real-world experience and build strong community ties is something we’re proud to be part of.

Morgan’s journey at Carey Group is a great example of how growth and support go hand in hand.

She joined the team just over three years ago in an administration support role and has since progressed through trainee and graduate positions to become a qualified Accountant. Along the way, Morgan completed her JCU Work Integrated Learning placement and graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting. She is now continuing her professional development through her CPA studies.

Through taking on more responsibility and embracing opportunities to learn, Morgan has built confidence in her skills and her career path.
