I've heard business owners say that for years.

And they're usually right.

Today.

The problem is that "faster today" often becomes "stuck forever."

Training someone takes longer.
Documenting a process takes longer.
Delegating properly takes longer.

But constantly being the bottleneck takes the longest of all.

Every morning I walk the dogs past the same corner.

There's a worn path through the grass where people cut the corner instead of following the footpath.

I nearly did it myself.

Then I realised something.

The extra steps were literally the reason I was out there.

Who are you taking advice from?

The four most common business structures are:

Sole trader
Partnership
Company
Trust

Each one comes with different considerations around tax, control, setup costs, reporting requirements, asset protection and future growth.

What works for one business owner may not be the best fit for another.
