For those that need assistance after the recent weather event - there are a number of grants currently available to assist individuals and businesses with immediate and long-term recovery.
Financial Support Services
Emergency Hardship Assistance – Immediate support for essential needs like temporary accommodation, food, clothing, and medication.
Essential Services Hardship Assistance – Helps with reconnecting essential services such as water and electricity.
Essential Household Contents Grant – Assists with replacing or repairing essential household items.
Structural Assistance Grant – Provides support for home repairs to make it safe and livable.

Disaster Recovery Allowance - If you've lost income due to the cyclone, you may be eligible for up to 13 weeks of income support, equivalent to the JobSeeker payment rate.
Disaster Recovery Payment - A one-time payment of $1,000 per eligible adult and $400 per eligible child is available for those significantly affected.
