Leadership isn't always about making popular decisions.

For Ross Ried, almost 50 years with the Albury Tigers Club Ltd has meant facing moments that were incredibly difficult. As someone who wears his heart on his sleeve, he admits that making tough calls can sometimes "tear your guts out".

But community football has taught him an important lesson: sometimes leadership means putting the team ahead of yourself.
