✨ Celebrating Excellence at the 2026 IAS Athlete Awards ✨

On Friday 28 August, 215 guests gathered at The Fraternity Club to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the Illawarra Academy of Sport community.

Across 17 award categories, 47 athletes, coaches and support staff were recognised for their dedication, perseverance and success throughout the year. The evening highlighted the incredible talent within the IAS program and the collective efforts of those who support our athletes on their high-performance journeys.

A special congratulations to Para Triathlete Jack Gibson, who was awarded the prestigious DRB Group Tobin Family Athlete of the Year Award, recognising his exceptional achievements and commitment to excellence.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a memorable evening. We are incredibly proud of all our award recipients and the broader IAS family.
