Meet Kellie Stannard, Director at DRB.

With over 25 years of experience in accounting, Kellie has been part of DRB Group since the firm was established at its current location in 1999. She works closely with small to medium-sized businesses, providing personalised support across their accounting, operational and financial needs.

Known for her ability to listen and understand each client’s individual circumstances, Kellie combines accounting, managerial and business experience to build trusted relationships and help business owners work towards their goals with confidence.

✨ Celebrating Excellence at the 2026 IAS Athlete Awards ✨

On Friday 28 August, 215 guests gathered at The Fraternity Club to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the Illawarra Academy of Sport community.

Across 17 award categories, 47 athletes, coaches and support staff were recognised for their dedication, perseverance and success throughout the year. The evening highlighted the incredible talent within the IAS program and the collective efforts of those who support our athletes on their high-performance journeys.

A special congratulations to Para Triathlete Jack Gibson, who was awarded the prestigious DRB Group Tobin Family Athlete of the Year Award, recognising his exceptional achievements and commitment to excellence.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a memorable evening. We are incredibly proud of all our award recipients and the broader IAS family.

The most prestigious honour at the IAS, this award recognises athletes who embody excellence both on and off the sporting arena.

Nominees are assessed on their sporting achievements, commitment to training and development, attitude and sportsmanship, dedication to learning, and the ways they give back to their community.

Thanks to the generous support of our partner the DRB Group, the winner will receive $10,000 prize money to support them on their sporting journey.

The award is named in honour of one of the academy’s founding members, Ted Tobin OAM, and recognises the contribution made by the Tobin family over many years to sport in the Illawarra and specifically the IAS.

Eligibility extends to winners of each sport-specific Athlete of the Year Award, as well as athletes from the Future Stars and Football programs.
