My favorite part of this program has been learning Advanced Tax Planning strategies… some of my clients are getting calls about this when I get home!!! 😁❤️

First step complete! This week I have been in Toronto completing exams for the RPA (Registered Professional Accountant) designation. It’s been 4 days of classes, exams and a presentation (never my favourite part). Now I wait anxiously for the assessment…

(RPA is an accounting designation that focuses on small and medium sized businesses and personal tax. The designation has been around since 1971 and is one of two professional accounting designations in Canada)

Online tax filing begins on February 23rd, 2026, and now’s the perfect time to make sure you can still sign in to your CRA account.

If you’ve forgotten your sign-in info or the answers to your security questions, you can self-serve and regain access by completing the online registration process again. https://ow.ly/a8iw50Y1YSF

Still can’t get in? Our service representatives can help over the phone.

Call volumes get much higher once tax season starts, so we recommend reaching out now if you need support.

New clients: CRA has changed the rules around authorizing a representative. You will now need either access to your CRA account or your most recent Notice of Assessment (at least 6 months old)
Authorization on current or past clients remains in place - no new action required.

Good news! If you forgot your CRA user ID or password, you may be able to register for a new credential online, no need to call us.

Get your most recent tax return and multi-factor authentication (MFA) information ready. To help keep your account secure, your old credential will be removed. https://ow.ly/eMAq50Y6wGk

If you've lost access to your MFA information or if your account is locked, our phone support remains available to assist you.
