These are the ones that made it happen! It took many LONG days, a lot of patience and grace, and quite a few snacks/treats- but we got all the returns filed by 6pm!!! I know that Bonnie McIntosh was missed by all, but it was a joy to continue to serve so many in the Arthur community and others from afar! We hope to see you again next year! (Thanks also to those who pitched in behind the scenes Kristi, Marissa)

🍁 It’s almost tax season! 🍁

Time to start gathering those T4s, T5s, and receipts! The 2025 tax-filing season is just around the corner, and getting organized now can make things so much easier when it’s time to file with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). 🇨🇦

Here’s your quick prep checklist:
✔️ Collect your T4, T4A, T5 slips
✔️ Organize RRSP contribution receipts
✔️ Gather rental receipts or property taxes
✔️ Track medical expenses & charitable donations
✔️ Review childcare or work-from-home expenses
✔️ Make sure your CRA My Account access is up to date (if you have one set up)

🕰️E-filing opens up for the year on Feb. 23rd, so we will receive your documents anytime after that date.

✍️previous Be Sure Financial Clients must fill out a new authorization form in order for Beyond the Abacus Inc. to represent you. Please call or email the office or stop in to set this up.

We are excited to announce a special Draw exclusively for all former Be Sure Financial clients!
How to Enter
To participate in the draw, simply fill out an authorization form to Beyond the Abacus at any time during the month of November as well as a ballot form with your name and phone number. (any authorization forms already received this month will be automatically entered in the draw)
Prize Details
• Prize: 2 framed original watercolour pictures by local artist Larissa Graham of Wild At Heart Art Studio
• Eligibility: All previous Be Sure Financial clients who submit an authorization to Beyond the Abacus Inc. in November
• Entry Deadline: 2025-11-30
