Today Logan met his liver donor Sheri for the first time. There was lots of smiles but also some tears of joy. Sheri told Logan that they were now connected for life. She also told him that she will come and watch him play hockey when he recovers. That put a big smile on his face, especially when she said she would bring her cow bell to the game.

Looking forward to October 15th when the transplant takes place, and Logan can start being a kid again. Thank you Sheri for what you have done for our grandson! I really want you to know how much our family appreciates what you have done. You are amazing!!!

Do you have TYPE O BLOOD and are you16 - 50 years of age? Maybe you can help. We would like to thank all the caring people who have already stepped up for Logan by getting tested to see if they were eligible to donate a portion of their liver. Unfortunately, he is still looking for a suitable match and his most recent stay at Sick Kids' Hospital left him with disappointing news. Please click on this link to find out if you might be able to help. https://www.uhn.ca/Transplant/Living_Donor_Program/
