The office is closed today, Friday May 1st, to allow the staff a much needed day off. We will reopen Monday May 4, at 9am. At that time we will return to regular office hours of Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.

We are finishing up the week with our staff in office today, Friday February 20th.

With the cancellation and closure of all Grand Erie and District School busses and schools due to the ice accumulation today Thursday February 19, 2026, our office will remain closed today for the safety of our staff and clients. Staff will be working from home and responding to emails as well as the main office telephone line being monitored.

The office will be closed today, Wednesday February 18th, 2026 due to the weather forecast. The heavy rains expected today will make travel difficult along with the freezing rain in the forecast. We value the safety of our staff and clients. Each staff member will be monitoring their emails throughout the day and the main telephone line will be monitored as well with calls being returned in a timely fashion.

We would also like to thank Dr.Trish and all of the staff at Haldimand Animal Hospital for all the years of care they gave to Riley. They knew how much he meant to us all. Thank you for the compassion we have received the last few weeks.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Riley, our affectionate office cat.
Riley came to us 11 years ago as a battered little guy in much need of medical assistance and a family to love him. Even in his distressed state, we knew he was full of love and would be that added “staff member” the office needed. Riley had a sixth sense about him. If you were having a bad day, having trouble making that excel spreadsheet work, he knew and would “plop” himself in the middle of your workstation and demand some pets. He always needed to be involved in all meetings, making sure he was center of attention. Riley knew he picked the right group of ladies for help. From the day he came to live at the office, he never once tried to leave the building! He could be seen sitting in the window watching the birds and squirrels or just waiting for someone to go by and notice him. Many towns’ people loved walking by and seeing him watching the world go by.
We knew he held our clients’ hearts, when many would come in and ask were Riley was before even saying “hello”.
We are so happy that you chose us to be your forever home Riley, and you will be missed beyond words.

With schools being closed again today, we have decided the roads are not safe for our staff either. We will continue to keep our office closed again today. Telephone lines and emails are monitored through out the day.

The office will be closed today, Monday January 26, 2026 due to the weather over the last 24 hours. Our staff and the public road crews are working hard to get everyone and all roads dug out/cleared out for safe travels.
