As a member of the team at Liberty, you are willing to learn new skills every day, responsible for preparing complete and accurate tax returns, invoicing and other customer facing tasks, all while delivering outstanding customer service.
This role is well suited to anyone with experience, students in an accounting or bookkeeping program and anyone who is open minded and willing to learn. Ongoing training will be provided to all new hires.
Duties include:
-Provide first rate customer service by striving to make every customer a raving fan of our business
-Conducting tax interviews with clients and preparing tax returns
-Explain the appropriate procedure and flow of the client's chosen service and the benefits of each service offered
-Accurately inputs all client information into the tax preparation computer
-Correctly completes all applicable paperwork for client’s chosen service
-Ensuring client confidentiality and privacy
-Assisting with local marketing and business growth
-Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Prior tax preparation experience and accounting is considered an asset
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate in person
Comfortable working with computers
Friendly and professional
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 - 3 months with opportunity to extend
