I’ll be the first to admit it, I got a little too click-happy with Amazon lately. A few packages arrived and I quickly realized they weren’t aligned with my budget or priorities, so back they went.

Mistakes happen. Overspending happens. And that’s okay.

What matters most isn’t dwelling on it or feeling guilty, it’s recognizing it early, course correcting, and getting back on track. Returning those items was a small step, but it was a powerful reminder that we always have choices when it comes to our money.

Progress over perfection, always.💰📦

I used to think that as long as I was making minimum payments, I was “doing fine.”

But once I started being honest with myself, I realized I was barely moving. This month, after overspending, I’m refocusing on putting extra toward my debt even if it’s small. Because every time I choose progress over avoidance, I feel lighter.

If you’re in that same season of wanting to finally move forward with your finances, join me this January 10. This workshop is the reset I wish I had years ago. Seats are limited! Link is in the comments!

This season is your gentle reminder to slow down, take a breath, and enjoy the little moments.

Rest, reset, and get ready for a more confident money year ahead ✨🎄

I’m truly grateful to be part of your financial journey and can’t wait to continue supporting you in the year to come.

This time of year has a way of making everything feel clearer. When things finally slow down, you start to see what really mattered, where your money went, and how much you’ve grown through it all. It wasn’t perfect, but it was real and there is so much value in that. Take the lessons with you, give yourself credit for getting through it, and allow yourself to move into the next season with more intention and less pressure.💚 Thank you, 2025!!

As the year comes to a close, it’s the perfect time to celebrate your money wins big or small! From saving more, paying down debt, or simply getting clarity on your finances, every step counts.

Check out my December newsletter for tips on reflecting, celebrating, and setting yourself up for an even stronger financial year ahead.📰🎆

This one’s real for me. Yes, I’m paying off credit card debt… but I also still have the urge to shop, especially this season. Instead of pretending I don’t feel that, I’ve been learning how to manage it.
Cash for small things, caps on big things, and awareness over avoidance.

I’m learning, and I’m giving myself permission to enjoy life without sabotaging my goals. If you’re trying to find that balance too, come join me in January. We’re doing this together. Save your spot! Link in the comments!

After overspending last month, I caught myself slipping into old stories… “You should’ve known better.” “You’re starting over again.”

But I’m learning to give myself grace and remember that progress isn’t linear.
Overspending isn’t failure, it’s feedback.

If you need that same reminder, I hope you join me in January. We’re going to build a financial plan that works in real life, not just on paper. Link in the comments!

Me: financially stable, got my budget under control, even have a little fun money saved.
Also me: wondering… did I pay hydro, the car insurance, or did I forget everything at once? Send this to a friend who’s had the same panic!😱🤣

I overspent in November like, way more than I expected. I used my credit card a little too freely, didn’t track a few days, and suddenly I was staring at a number that made me say… ‘Okay, time to get serious again.’
Here’s exactly how I got myself back on track:
1. I listed every November transaction even the tiny ones.
2. I separated the overspending into: necessary, emotional, and accidental.
3. I adjusted my December categories so the money has a job again.
4. And most importantly,I made a plan to prioritize my debt payments for the next 30 days.

It doesn’t have to be shameful. It’s just information and information gives you control again.

And honestly, this whole process inspired one of the biggest workshops I’ve ever planned for January… seats are now open! Because if I need a reset, I know many others do too. Link in the comments!
