We recently framed up something pretty special (with the help of Picture it in a Frame).

Geoff's grandfather, Freeman Wareham, was awarded the Lieutenant Governor's Canada 125 Medal when he was 90 years old.

The Federal Fisheries Minister at the time, John Crosbie, awarded Freeman this one-time commemorative honour, which was issued in 1992, to mark the 125th anniversary of Canadian Confederation. It was awarded to Canadians who made significant contributions to their fellow citizens, their community, or the country as a whole.

We're very proud to be able to display this little slice of family and Canadian history in our hallways.
