Despite being seriously injured during an alleged cockpit attack, Captain Machchhar fought back, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew members to overpower the attacker. His actions helped prevent a catastrophic mid-air disaster.

His bravery reminds us that true leadership is revealed not in moments of comfort, but in moments of crisis. When fear could have taken over, Captain Machchhar chose courage, responsibility, and humanity.
