Start a new mileage log tomorrow with details such as beginning odometer reading, date, purpose/details of the trip, starting address, destination address, and total KM driven for business purposes

If you are a sole proprietor, you need to keep ALL of your receipts relating to your vehicle in order to claim vehicle expenses.

If you are an incorporated business owner, instead you may choose to reimburse yourself $0.72/ KM up to 5,000 KM and $0.66/ KM thereafter. Keep a mileage log. No receipts needed.
