WOW- Word of caution to everyone today. Got a call from someone claiming to be from Eastlink saying they are changing the internet in my area to fiber op. Guy wanted all kinds of information from me and I keep refusing to provide him with anything. Told him to tell me my info so I could confirm or deny. Said he couldn’t do that for security reasons. Wanted me to open google chrome so he could check my current browser speed. I told him “not going to happen”. He got so upset he started yelling for me to listen to him. I kept saying “not going to happen” over and over and over and finally he hung up on me. I could not believe how pushy he was. It was obviously a scammer. He must not be meeting his scam quota for the day. Be careful people !
