The best policy for Parkinson's is the one a carrier will actually approve at a price you can live with. There is no single winner. There are three routes, and the right one shifts as the condition does.
1. Fully underwritten policies
Most coverage, lowest cost, most questions. Realistic when the diagnosis is early, treatment is stable, you are otherwise healthy, and ideally younger.
2. Simplified issue policies
No exam, a few questions, wording is everything. Some carriers name Parkinson's directly on a knockout question. Others do not, which can leave the door open to immediate coverage.
3. Guaranteed or no medical policies
Approved no matter what, smaller amounts, higher cost. The floor nobody falls below.
The takeaway: The cheapest route and the easiest route are rarely the same thing. Chasing the wrong one first is how applications stall. A broker can help you find the right route for your stage.
