The personal income tax deadlines for the 2025 tax year (filed in 2026) are:
April 30, 2026 – Deadline for most individuals to file your tax return and pay any taxes owed.
June 15, 2026 – Deadline to file if you or your spouse are self-employed.
However, if you owe taxes, you still must pay by April 30, 2026 to avoid interest.
Other useful date:
March 2, 2026 – Deadline to contribute to an RRSP for the 2025 tax year.
