When is the tax holiday in effect?
• The eligible period begins December 15, 2024, and ends February 15, 2025
• To be considered within the eligible period the sale
must:
• Paid in full within the period; and
• Consumer receives the property/service within the period

Important to receive payment of invoices (if eligible for the tax holiday) within this period to have it included within the period.

The E-File desk for 2024 Tax Filing opens February 24, 2025.

Some Canada Revenue Agency systems will be undergoing annual maintenance. As a result, the following service interruptions will occur during the time frames noted below.

Starting at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2025:
​The T1 EFILE, ReFILE and T1134/T1135 web services will be unavailable until 8:30 a.m. on Monday, February 24, 2025 (Eastern Time).
