I am a small bussiness local to the Peace Region specializing in bookkeeping duties for small to midsize companies in and around BC as well as Alberta. I was trained on Sage 50 from a very respected and sought out woman in town, as well as a licensed accountant on QuickBooks and QuickBooks online; between these wonderful women they have 50 plus years’ experience and I have been lucky enough to hav

e their help. In addition I have also attended many web based courses to further my knowledge in this field. So, if you’re looking for someone to take over all the pesky paper work and get a handle on things for you so you don't have to worry about it, please give me a call. I specialize in the "needier" clients that don't have the time to focus on the administrative side of things and for those that just like to do the work that they specialize in, and leave the rest to me

Linda Thornton, a member of the North Peace Seniors Housing Society board and owner of Better Cents Bookkeeping, has been named July's Fort St. John Co-op Community Champion 🏆

Thornton has been selected as the Community Champion due to her amazing work during the North Peace Seniors Housing Society radiothon on June 5, 2026. She has served as treasurer of the society since their last annual general meeting. According to Thornton, being treasurer is “really exciting” because it allows for getting involved in the community and making decisions to improve seniors’ lives in the housing society. She said meeting seniors and knowing the society’s decisions actually make a difference to seniors has been “really rewarding.”
