Sole Proprietor or Corporation?
Choosing a Business structure affects more than how you register your company.
As a Sole Proprietor, you and the Business are generally treated as one legal entity. Administration may be simpler, but the owner is personally responsible for the Business’s obligations.
A Corporation is a separate legal entity. It may offer advantages involving liability, growth, ownership, and tax planning, but it also comes with additional reporting, legal, and administrative requirements.
Neither structure is automatically better.
The right option depends on your income, risk, future plans, financing needs, and personal circumstances.
