Tax software and other tax aids are certainly helpful, but they do not always provide the CRA with the information individuals or businesses need to further their goals.

Rental income cannot be downloaded. Tuition and other forms are often not released accurately. Sometimes people cannot refinance if CRA doesn't show accurate income on tax returns.

While a conversation with an accountant may be inconvenient, it can save a lot of time and money.
