A quick reminder that the deadline to file your personal tax return is April 30th. If you owe taxes, the payment is also due April 30th to avoid interest and penalties.
If you’re self-employed (or have a spouse/common-law partner who is), you have until June 15th to file your return. However, any balance owing is still due by April 30th.
Whether you’re an employee, contractor, or have multiple income sources, getting your return filed accurately and on time is key.
If you haven’t started yet, now is the time. Don’t leave it until the last minute.
