On June 1, 2026, minimum wage in BC will go up to $18.25 an hour. BC’s minimum wage was once one of the lowest in the country and is now one of the highest.
Since 2024, minimum wage increases have been tied to BC’s average rate of inflation. These regular, gradual increases provide certainty for workers and predictability for businesses.
