7 Days and 6 nights Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater

Day 1: Tarangire National Park Game Drive
Pick up at 7:00am from your hotel in Arusha drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy your game drive till 6:00pm. Check out and drive to Karatu and check in for dinner and overnight

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park Game Drive
After breakfast depart the lodge and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Packed lunch at the picnic site and later on ascend the Rift Valley Wall to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay

Day 3 : Serengeti National Park Game Drive
After breakfast drive to Serengeti national park, enjoy afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight.

Day 4 : Full Day Serengeti National Park Game Drive
After breakfast in the camp, start a full day game drive in the park till 6 pm. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 : Full Day Serengeti National Park Game Drive
After breakfast in the camp, start a full day game drive in the park till 6 pm. Return to the campfor dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Half Day game drive in Serengeti National Park
Take your breakfast, continue with game drive in Serengeti for half a day, After Lunch drive out of Serengeti to ngorongoro and arrive for dinner and overnight at Rhino lodge

Day 7: Ngorongoro crater
After breakfast descend to the crater floor, enjoy game drive while finding black rhino, lunch at hippo pool picnic site, Mid afternoon ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha.

7-Day Tanzania Migration Itinerary (March)
This sample itinerary combines peak migration viewing with visits to other major northern circuit attractions, beginning and ending in Arusha.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) and transfer to your hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay and briefing.

Day 2: Arusha to Southern Serengeti (Ndutu Area)
After breakfast, drive to the Southern Serengeti, specifically the Ndutu plains, which is part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The area is known for vast herds of wildebeest and zebra during the calving season.

Day 3 & 4:
Full Days in Southern Serengeti (Ndutu)
Spend two full days on game drives in the Ndutu area. March is the peak of the calving season, offering excellent opportunities to see newborn calves and a high concentration of predators (lions, cheetahs, and hyenas) drawn by the abundance of prey.

Day 5:
Ndutu to Central Serengeti
Enjoy a morning game drive en route to the Central Serengeti (Seronera Valley). This area is renowned for its resident wildlife, especially the "big cats," year-round.

Day 6:
Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim
After a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, ascending the crater highands to your lodge on the rim.

Day 7:
Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Departure
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This natural amphitheater is densely packed with a variety of wildlife, including the rare black rhino.

In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha for your departure flight or an overnight stay.

The exact location of the herds is rain-dependent, but they are consistently in the Southern Serengeti/Ndutu plains from January to March.
Weather: March is within the green, or wet, season, so expect lush landscapes and a possibility of rain, usually in short bursts.
Accommodation: You will typically stay in tented camps.

Parks Visited: The common route includes Ndutu area, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and sometimes Lake Manyara or Tarangire National Park, depending on the specific package.
