This month, we’re welcoming Ashleigh and Kerilee from The Aligned Brand for an honest and practical session designed for business owners who know social media matters but find themselves overthinking it, avoiding it, or feeling like it’s starting to take more than it gives.

This is not a “post more, do more” kind of session.

Inside Aligned Balance, we’ll look at what is actually getting in your way when it comes to showing up. Not just what to post, but why it feels difficult in the first place.

You’ll be guided through a simple Instagram audit so you can look at your content with fresh eyes, along with direction you can actually use without adding more to your plate.

✨Meet Klynne, The Heart Behind The Wellness Prescriber✨ is.a.pharmacist

Klynne’s journey into functional health coaching began with family. When her cousin struggled to conceive and wasn’t getting answers from her healthcare team, Klynne stepped in and started asking the deeper questions.

She did the digging others wouldn’t, and from that moment, The Wellness Prescriber was born!

Working in a field that has long been patriarchal hasn’t been easy, but Klynne has never shied away from challenging the status quo. Instead, she’s used those challenges as fuel to advocate harder, look deeper, and truly listen to women who feel overlooked.

What sets Klynne apart is her in-depth analysis of lab results using optimal ranges, allowing her to identify dysfunction before it turns into chronic disease.

Her goal is simple but powerful: help women feel seen, heard, and supported, and to give them answers they can trust.

Her proudest moments? Helping women with a history of miscarriages go on to carry healthy pregnancies to full term. 💕FOUR babies and counting!

When asked to give a shoutout to another women-owned business in Southern Alberta, Klynne immediately highlighted Recharge Studio, owned by Aimee Sampson. .recharge

As part of her approach to wellness, Klynne frequently recommends relaxation-focused massages to help reduce cortisol levels. Recharge Studio offers a team of excellent massage therapists who truly work with your health goals in mind, making them a trusted referral and community favourite.

Our March event with 1st Choice Savings and Credit Union was such a great reminder of how powerful these rooms can be!

Nahid brought so much value and made the evening interactive, engaging, and fun with her money game! 💴 It was incredible to see everyone so involved and open to learning in a different way.

Thank you to Nahid Hassen and the team at 1st Choice Savings and Credit Union for hosting us and creating such a welcoming space.

The Loft on 5th is launching something brand new, and it’s called The Loft After Hours and the very first one is happening April 1st from 4 to 7 PM.

It’s a Music & Mingle, so think: really good, jazzy music, a super easy, welcoming vibe, and just a room full of people you actually want to connect with.

There will be light refreshments, plus a signature mocktail: The Loft Spritz — which, I mean… you should probably come just for that alone.

And there’s some really fun interactive vendors booked: Foster from Baked In Cookies is doing a “Taste & Tell,” so you can sample and be part of the process, Moriah from Moriah Makes will have a button and magnet station for personal or business use, and Tasha from Eternal Love is bringing permanent jewelry if you want something a little more lasting from the night.

It’s completely free to come, and honestly just a really great excuse to get out, meet some incredible people, and check out what they’re building.

AND they've got some exciting new things to chat about during the night, so you’ll definitely want to be there for that.

Join us for a fun, interactive, powerful and practical evening as Southern Alberta Women in Business partners with 1st Choice Savings and Credit Union Ltd. to bring you a conversation that every woman in business needs to have.

We will be gathering at the 1st Choice Savings Fairmont branch, located at 45 Fairmont Blvd S, for an evening of insight, connection, and meaningful discussion. Guests will enjoy an assortment of delicious appetizers catered by Country Kitchen Catering while networking with fellow women in business.

This event introduces a fresh perspective to the SAWIB community. Our guest speaker and long-time SAWIB member, Nahid Hassan from 1st Choice Savings, is a leader in financial wellness with over twenty years of experience in the financial industry. She is deeply committed to supporting the financial well-being of our community and was recognized as the 2024 Lethbridge Chamber Volunteer of the Year for her outstanding contributions.

Her presentation will explore essential protection topics, including planning for the unexpected, navigating illness, caring for loved ones, and safeguarding your business during life’s most challenging moments. These conversations can feel uncomfortable, but Nahid provides clarity, empathy, and a deep commitment to helping women make informed, proactive decisions today rather than being forced into difficult adjustments later.

Last week’s Mix & Mingle event was one of those nights that reminds us why this community matters.

So many women showed up to connect, collaborate and build real relationships. Some even drove in from surrounding communities just to be in the room, and that kind of commitment never goes unnoticed.

There’s something powerful about a space filled with passionate business women who are willing to introduce themselves, start conversations, and support one another.

A big thank you to The Loft On 5th for hosting us in their beautiful space, and to Jackie Standing .business for sharing practical insight on body language in communication and networking. So many great takeaways from the evening.
