If you are registered for a Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) account and currently receive paper mail, the way you receive your mail from the CRA might be changing.

Since July 3, 2025, the CRA has implemented a multiphase initiative to transition approximately 1.3 million individuals from paper to online mail. As of May 28, 2026, the initiative will be expanded to an additional 249,000 individuals.

If you are part of this change, you will receive an email notification from the CRA with more information.

The Ray Walter Memorial Scholarship was established by Ward & Uptigrove and the clients with whom Ray worked in recognition of his dedication to his profession, his generous spirit and community involvement.⁠

Ray Walter was a dedicated team-member and dear friend of the staff and clients of Ward & Uptigrove Chartered Professional Accountants. He was a leader within the office and within his community.⁠
⁠
He strived for excellence in his career as a CGA, and worked to better his community as a member of the Listowel Kinsmen Club and the North Perth Fire Department. Ray sadly gave his life during a fire call on March 17, 2011.⁠

This scholarship is awarded annually to a Listowel District Secondary School (LDSS) student(s) who are pursuing educational excellence while working to improve his or her community.
