I have always felt it was important to collaborate with my team outside of our regular work environment. Today we had a great little field trip to Rogersville. We enjoyed pizza at the Alma restaurant and then we visited the newly added farm to the Schenkels Farms family- the old Monestery in Rogersville. Schenkels Poultry is also on that property but for health reasons we couldn't see the chickens. Gabrielle was a great tour guide. Then we went on to the Ocean Spray Pleasant Ridge cranberry farm where we learned all about growing cranberries. Donald Daigle who is President of the NB Cranberry Association took us around and showed us the operation. Quite impressive. So when you decide to buy fresh cranberries at Costco you know those are local and coming from Rogersville!
