Hello everyone!

Here are some of the benefits which you will be getting in long run. Filing income tax is a legal requirement for all residents of Canada who earn income, regardless of whether they are newcomers or Canadian citizens. Here are some benefits of filing income tax as a newcomer in Canada:

Eligibility for government benefits: Filing income tax allows you to access various government benefits and tax credits, such as the GST/HST credit, Canada Child Benefit, and Working Income Tax Benefit.
Building your credit score: Filing income tax can help establish your credit history in Canada, which is important if you plan to apply for credit cards, loans, or a mortgage in the future.
Avoiding penalties and fines: Failing to file income tax can result in penalties and fines, so it is important to file your taxes on time to avoid any issues with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
Supporting your immigration status: Filing income tax can also help support your immigration status, as it shows that you are fulfilling your obligations as a resident of Canada.
Getting a refund: If you overpaid your taxes or are eligible for tax credits, you may be entitled to a tax refund, which can be helpful for newcomers who may have additional expenses associated with settling in Canada.
Overall, filing income tax is an important step for newcomers in Canada to establish their financial footprint, access government benefits, and fulfill their legal obligations as residents.

Don't know how to file your taxes? No worries, we are here for you. If you're an international student or came to Canada last year, you might be eligible for special discount.

Hurry contact us soon and get your refund.

International students in Canada are eligible to claim tuition tax credits on their income tax returns.
These credits can provide significant benefits and help reduce the amount of taxes owed.

Here are some of the benefits of claiming tuition tax credits:
Reducing taxes owed: Tuition tax credits can be used to reduce the amount of taxes owed on your Canadian income.
This can be especially helpful for students who have part-time jobs or other sources of income while studying.
Carry forward: If you don't owe taxes or if your tuition tax credits exceed the amount of taxes owed, you can carry forward the unused portion to future tax years.
This means you can use the credits to reduce your taxes owed in future years.

Transferable: You can also transfer up to $5,000 of your tuition tax credits to a parent or grandparent, if they are Canadian residents and have taxes owing.
This can be a helpful way to support your family members while also reducing their tax burden.
Provincial tax credits: In addition to the federal tuition tax credit, many provinces and territories in Canada also offer their own tuition tax credits.
This means you may be eligible for additional tax savings depending on where you live and study.
It's important to note that claiming tuition tax credits can be complex, and the rules and regulations can vary depending on your individual circumstances.
It's a good idea to consult with a tax professional or use tax preparation software to ensure that you are claiming all of the credits and deductions that you are eligible for.
Contact us today and we will help you to claim most of it.

Filing taxes in Canada as an international student can have several benefits, including:

Compliance with Canadian law: As a resident of Canada, you are required to file income taxes every year, regardless of whether you are a Canadian citizen or not. Filing taxes ensures that you are in compliance with Canadian law.
Access to tax benefits: Filing taxes in Canada can make you eligible for various tax credits and benefits, such as the GST/HST credit, the Canada Child Benefit, and the tuition tax credit. These benefits can help reduce your tax liability and provide you with additional financial assistance.
Future immigration benefits: Filing taxes can also benefit international students in the future when applying for permanent residency in Canada. The Canadian government considers tax compliance when evaluating applications for permanent residency, and having a good tax record can strengthen your application.
Refunds: If you have paid more taxes than you owe, you may be eligible for a tax refund. Filing taxes ensures that you receive any refunds owed to you.
Establishing credit history: Filing taxes and paying taxes on time can also help establish a positive credit history in Canada, which can be helpful when applying for loans or credit cards in the future.
In summary, filing taxes in Canada as an international student is important for legal compliance, eligibility for tax benefits, future immigration benefits, potential refunds, and establishing credit history.

As a Taxpayer, it is very important to know the Tax Deadlines.

Each year, the 15th of June is the deadline for self-employed individuals and their wives or common-law partners to file their tax returns. Any unpaid taxes must still be paid by April 30th, though.

Further, your payment is considered on time if it is received on the first business day after the due date.

When a due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or a public holiday recognized by the CRA, your return is considered on time if the CRA receives it, or if it is postmarked, on or before the next business day.
