In general, those professions that are governed by a professional body or association will be allowed to incorporate like:

Physicians
Dentists
Veterinarians
Lawyers
Accountants
Engineers
Architects
Real estate broker

There are substantial tax savings available for professional corporations. 👌

According to Ontario’s SPCA, the first year of puppy ownership can cost just over $2,900. This is why some pet owners are asking if they can write off expenses related to their pets.

CRA only allows tax deduction of pet expenses for 2 reasons:
👉 If you are a farm owner and you raise livestock as part of your business, or outdoor animals to guard your crops.
👉If your pet is registered as a service animal- meaning your pet is assisting you due to a medical need.
