Company culture isn't built during annual retreats.

It's built in the small moments employees experience every single day.

In Episode 298 of Success Leaves Clues, Stephanie Crombie, Employee Experience Manager at HeyOrca, shares why creating a workplace where people feel seen, valued, and connected has become one of the biggest competitive advantages a company can have.

From thoughtful onboarding to personalized recognition, Stephanie explains why employee experience isn't about bigger budgets or better perks. It's about intentionally designing moments that make people want to stay.

We talk about:
➡️ Why employee experience starts on day one
➡️ How remote companies can build genuine cultures of belonging
➡️ Why personalization matters more than generic perks
➡️ The power of recognizing effort, not just outcomes
➡️ How leaders can create workplaces people don't want to leave

"People will remember how you made them feel more than the metric you moved on a spreadsheet."

A valuable conversation for CEOs, founders, HR leaders, and anyone building teams in today's evolving workplace.

Starting a family brings plenty of exciting changes and a few new financial responsibilities too.

From parental leave and childcare costs to insurance, education savings, and everyday expenses, planning ahead can help you feel more prepared for the road ahead.

You don't need to have every detail figured out. A thoughtful financial plan can help you understand what to prioritize now, what can wait, and how to build flexibility as your family grows.

Thinking about starting or growing your family? Let’s make sure your financial plan is ready to grow with you. www.lifeandlegacy.ca

You can't control the markets, inflation or the economy. You can control how prepared your retirement plan is to withstand them.

A strong retirement plan is built to remain flexible when conditions change.

That means creating multiple income streams, maintaining a cash cushion, reviewing spending and withdrawals regularly, and staying invested at a level of risk that supports both stability and long-term growth.

You can't eliminate uncertainty but you can build enough resilience that uncertainty doesn't dictate your decisions.

Imagine spending 40 years building your retirement savings only to feel like your financial future depends on the next inflation report, interest rate announcement, economic headline or stock market close.

Leadership has never been more demanding.

Today's leaders are expected to do more with less, hire exceptional talent, retain high performers, navigate constant change, embrace AI, be authentic, communicate with confidence, and somehow have all the answers.

The reality?

No one has all the answers.

In Episode 297 of Success Leaves Clues, Kristin Condon, Chief Talent Officer at Sales Talent Agency, explains why the best leaders aren't the ones pretending to know everything. They're the ones who can acknowledge uncertainty while giving their teams confidence in the direction ahead.

We talk about:
➡️ Why leadership has become more complex in the age of AI
➡️ The balance between vulnerability and confidence
➡️ How transparency builds trust without creating fear
➡️ Why employees respect honesty more than certainty
➡️ What today's leaders need to do to earn trust and retain great people

"People are going to have more respect for somebody who can connect with them on that level, but show confidence in where things are going, not fear."

A thoughtful conversation about modern leadership, trust, and navigating uncertainty with confidence.

Financial well-being is rarely built through dramatic changes. It grows from understanding your habits, making the big decisions thoughtfully and consistently directing your money toward the life you actually want.

Not everyone will agree with every point but that’s what makes the conversation worthwhile.

Is there one financial belief you would defend no matter how unpopular it might be?

Social media has been flooded lately with experts sharing the “hills they’d die on”; the opinions they’ll defend no matter how unpopular. Doctors, teachers, chefs, nutritionists and therapists have all weighed in.

Living longer is becoming the new normal in Canada. Life expectancy for men has risen from 71 years in 1960 to 82 years in 2018. If you and your spouse are 65 today, the chances that at least one of you will reach 90 are higher than you might expect. This shift means planning for retirement and long...

As retirement approaches, it’s a good time to take a closer look at your life insurance as the policy that made sense years ago may not fit the same way today.

It’s worth understanding what you have, what it’s for, and whether it still supports the people and plans that matter most. A thoughtful review can help you make more informed decisions as your life changes. www.lifeandlegacy.ca

Most CEOs can clearly explain their revenue strategy.

Far fewer can explain their talent strategy.

In Episode 297 of Success Leaves Clues, Kristin Condon, Chief Talent Officer at Sales Talent Agency, shares why that disconnect could become one of the biggest competitive disadvantages over the next few years.

As AI reshapes hiring and competition for top performers continues to intensify, attracting and retaining exceptional people can no longer be treated as an HR initiative. It has to be a business strategy.

We talk about:
➡️ Why talent strategy deserves the same attention as revenue strategy
➡️ How AI is changing the competition for top talent
➡️ Why hiring should always be connected to business problems, not just open roles
➡️ How employer branding influences your ability to attract great people
➡️ What CEOs need to understand to stay competitive in today's hiring market

"The competition for top talent is only going to become more intense."

A valuable conversation for founders, CEOs, and leaders looking to build stronger teams and stronger businesses.

A great vacation should not follow you home in the form of credit card stress.

With a little planning, even small amounts set aside consistently can help turn “we should go somewhere” into a reality.

The same is true for your financial goals. It doesn't always take a dramatic change. Sometimes it starts with a clear goal, a separate savings plan, and the discipline to let it build.

Nothing ruins the benefits of a relaxing holiday faster than the credit card bill that shows up 30 days later — and that you can’t pay in full. Don’t let that be you.

Your portfolio should do more than grow. It should help give you choices.

The choice to travel.
The choice to spend more time with family.
The choice to step back from work when the time is right.
The choice to enjoy what you’ve built while you have the health and energy to do it.

Retirement planning should ensure your money supports the life you actually want to live.

Your financial plan should gradually be converting capital into freedom.
