My husband and I recently took our four children to Disneyland. It is a trip that we have been planning and saving for for some time. We probably could have gone sooner but we had other goals that we were prioritizing. Then a few things happened earlier this year and a once-in-a-lifetime family vacation moved to the top of our priority list.
That is the beauty of having a financial plan in place. Priorities were determined, goals were set, and savings were being allocated appropriately. Then priorities changed. And the Financial Plan changed with them. One goal was delayed and another one was achieved.

Last November I had the amazing opportunity to tour the 9/11 Memorial Museum on my own. The memorial has honoured the victims in such a beautiful way and the museum has done a fantastic job of recounting the events surrounding the attack. If you ever find yourself in New York I would highly encourage you to go.

In the meantime, on the anniversary, be sure to take a moment to reflect on September 11, 2001.
