When people say, “Insurance is a scam,” it’s usually not because insurance is a scam. It’s because they had the wrong type of insurance, the wrong solution, at the wrong time—or sometimes for the wrong reason.

So often, people realize they need Life Insurance too late.

Most people who come to me needing Life Insurance for tax planning, business succession, inheritance, estate taxes/fees, etc. are between 55 and 75 years old. At that point, Life Insurance is much more expensive—and sometimes, you may not even be able to get it.

Building a base plan in your 20s or 30s doesn’t mean you’re “locked in for life.” It simply means you’ve put a plan in place that can grow and adapt with you—while potentially creating significant value for you and your family.

DON’T WAIT until it’s too late. Have the conversation today and find an insurance plan that makes sense for you.

Everyone is a financial guru these days. Whether it comes from TikTok, YouTube, your neighbour, some complete stranger who you know nothing about and knows nothing about you. Someone holds the key to your wealth!

There’s nothing wrong with getting ideas online—but knowing the difference between information and advice is important. Knowing whether it even applies to you, is even MORE important.

I hear this ALL the time "Wait… why didn’t anyone tell me about this before?!"

For business owners and key people, there are strategies that can provide critical protection for the business and revenue while ALSO creating a potentially tax-efficient way to pay yourself or your key employee.

And if the coverage is never needed, premiums may be returned through a Return of Premium option which is an efficient way to take money out of your corporation.

GIC's do have their place, but they will not make you rich. With inflation being around 3-3.5% annually (actual cost of living for essentials being higher) and GIC interest rates 2-3% you can be LOSING money with them short and long-term.

Can markets be risky, yes, but not all "non-guaranteed" investments have to be risky. The fact of the matter is, without using them, your money and wealth will not GROW, it will simply keep up with inflation.
