Our office is expanding, and we require more staff
With a fast-growing client list 2312040 Ontario Inc. is seeking a full time Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer.
Duties would include:
Prepare and file personal/business tax returns
Assist clients with tax-related questions and concerns
Stay up to date on tax rules and regulations
Flexibility to travel between Petawawa/Pembroke offices as needed
Accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll
Balance Sheets and Income Statements
Monthly bank/Credit Card reconciliation
Submit government remittances including payroll deductions, HST, WSIB
Prepare monthly financial statements
Prepare year-end financial statements
Prepare weekly payroll and timesheets
Meetings with clients
Must be willing to travel to clients work locations
Familiar with Quebec fillings/bookkeeping rules and regulations
Daily communications with clients (by phone or emails)
Skills and abilities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable and highly trustworthy
Ability to work as a member of a team
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Knowledge of Sage 50, QuickBooks, excel, and Tax Cycle
Bilingual would be an asset
Rate of pay will be determined by experience
