To every firefighter, first responder, pilot, crew member and volunteer who has shown up for our communities during these devastating wildfires, thank you. 🤍

To those working tirelessly on the ground and in the air, putting yourselves in harm’s way to protect our homes, our forests, our animals and one another… we see you.

The past days have been incredibly difficult for so many throughout Summerland, Faulder and the surrounding Okanagan communities. Through the fear and uncertainty, we have also witnessed something incredibly powerful: people showing up for people.

From all of us at CID Books, we are sending so much love and gratitude to the brave people fighting these fires, and to every family and community member who has been impacted.

We see your courage.
We see your sacrifice.
We see your light. ✨

CID Books stands with you. 🤍

Thank you for protecting our home.

Canada Day is this Wednesday, and the CID team will be doing what we do best when we’re not doing your books: enjoying the Okanagan! 🍁☀️

Our office will be closed on Wednesday, July 1, and we’ll be back at it Thursday, July 2.

From our team to yours, Happy Canada Day! We hope your day is filled with good people, good food, and maybe a lake dip or two. 🇨🇦

While our weekend warrior Mickey is still out forest bathing in the beautiful South Okanagan 🌲✨, his brother Rocket is back at CID HQ holding down the fort.

Safe to say he misses his adventure buddy… and it’s also safe to say that neither of them are actually working today 🐾🤍

From mossy forest stumps to the CID lounge chair, these brothers have truly mastered work-life balance.

Swipe to see Rocket’s office mode. 😂😇
