𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐮𝐚 𝐌𝐜𝐊𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐩, CPA, is the Owner and CEO of TruNorth Accounting, where he helps business owners gain clarity and confidence in their financial decisions. He earned his Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting from Athabasca University in 2017 and completed his CPA designation with CPA New Brunswick in 2020.

Joshua began his career in private industry, where he developed a practical, operator-focused approach to accounting. From 2019 to 2023, he advanced from Junior Accountant to Controller of a company generating over $400 million in annual sales, gaining experience in industries ranging from transportation to international restaurant franchising. Through this journey, he saw firsthand how often financial information feels overwhelming or disconnected from day-to-day business decisions—and how powerful it can be when it’s clearly understood.

Today, Josh is passionate about demystifying the numbers for entrepreneurs—turning accounting from a compliance exercise into a valuable tool for decision-making. He focuses on helping business owners understand their financials, take control of their businesses, and use their numbers to drive meaningful growth.
