We're on the lookout for an accomplished bookkeeper to join our accounting practice!

🔹 Position: Bookkeeper
🔹 Location: Remote (Office based in Tri-Cities)
🔹 Part-time / Full-time
🔹 Must reside in Canada / USA (Applicants not located in either region will not be considered)

📌 What You'll Be Doing:

✅ Maintain general ledger financial statements with precision 📈
✅ Skillfully post journal entries to keep our records up-to-date 🔢
✅ Prepare a variety of statistical and financial reports to inform our clients 📊
✅ Reconcile accounts to ensure everything adds up and runs smoothly 💰

💡 What We're Searching For:

✅ Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role (2+ years preferred) 📖
✅ A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices 📚
✅ Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (essential) 🖥️
✅ Impeccable attention to detail and unwavering accuracy in financial record-keeping ✒️
✅ Exceptional organizational and time management skills ⏳
✅ Stellar communication and interpersonal abilities 🗣️
✅ Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and tax laws, including sales tax and payroll tax 📝
✅ The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team 🤝
✅ Experience with year-end financial statement preparation (a definite plus) 📅
✅ Experience with the production of personal and corporate tax returns (desirable, but not mandatory) 💼
