📢 BC Minimum Wage Increase Effective June 1, 2026
The Government of British Columbia has announced that the general minimum wage will increase from **$17.85 to $18.25 per hour** effective June 1, 2026.
💼 Employers should ensure:
✔️ Payroll systems are updated
✔️ Employee wage rates are adjusted accordingly
✔️ Vacation pay, overtime, and statutory holiday calculations reflect the new rate
This annual increase is tied to inflation to help keep wages in pace with the cost of living.
