⚠️ CRA GST/HST SCAM WARNING ⚠️

Please be cautious of text messages or emails claiming that you are entitled to a GST/HST refund or credit.

These fraudulent messages may:

• Create a sense of urgency or give you a deadline
• Ask you to click a link to claim your refund
• Request your SIN, banking details or other personal information

The CRA will not ask you by text or email to provide personal or banking information to receive a refund.

✅ Do not click suspicious links
✅ Do not reply or provide personal information
✅ Verify refunds directly through your official CRA account
✅ Access CRA services by typing Canada.ca into your browser—not through a message link

If you receive one of these messages, delete it and report it as spam.
