Another day, another announcement! This one is bittersweet. This is my longtime assistant, colleague and friend Kelsea Rattray's last day working with my team. She has found a great opportunity with Saskatchewan Health Authority. Kelsea has worked with me for nearly five years, starting out working in between taking university classes and ending working full time for my practice and two others. I always knew one day she would outgrow the role we had for her and would take the next step in her career. I am very happy to have been able to spend five years working with Kelsea and am very proud of what she has accomplished and wish her the best in her new role.

Hi All, I am happy to announce big changes in my practice. I have decided to step down from my management position with IG to focus solely on working with my clients. With this move, I have also partnered with my friend and colleague Sean Piché - IG Wealth Management. This move will allow us to leverage our strengths, and provide a better overall experience for our clients. Sean joins our existing team of Marvin Schroeder, Associate Consultant; and Kelsea Rattray, Executive Assistant. We look forward to introducing you to our new team!

Most stock markets have quietly boomed since the bottom on March 23rd. Is there a disconnect? Where do we go from here? I have no clue, and anyone who claims they do is likely trying to sell you something. Do not get greedy when markets move higher for the same reason we do not panic at the bottom. Leave your emotions at the door when it comes to your investments and focus on your plan.

IG head office has recommended Advisors implement “work from home” protocol. I have full Zoom video chat capability, as well as FaceTime and more and more e-sign capability coming (including docusign). Each and every point has a lot of merit. My biggest takeaway: the onus is now more on you than it has ever been. My job is to create a plan so that it is achievable and measurable. It is OK to get help.
