Position Overview:
A Financial Advisor is a sales commission position whereby customer contact and service excellence are very important.
The successful financial Advisor must be a ‘self-starter’ with strong interpersonal skills. Your role as an advisor is to independently attract and manage the financial assets of individuals and small businesses by providing access to a wide range of investment vehicles, advisory services and offer estate planning advice.

Must have:
- Valid Mutual Funds accreditation for Ontario (IFIC or CSC)
- 2-5 years of outbound sales experience in the financial services industry
Responsibilities:
Source, build and retain your client base.
Act as a single point of contact for clients in servicing, advising, selling and purchasing appropriate investments in registered and non-registered accounts.
Complete the Know Your Client and provide advice to clients on suitable investment vehicles and products
Process mutual fund transactions and maintain client accounts
Perform administrative duties as required, including but not limited to dealing with mutual fund companies and financial institutions, following up on transactions until completed and ensuring complete and adequate documentation for all client accounts and transactions.
Ensuring maintenance of required licenses, compliance of ethical behaviour and conformity with corporate policies (3iFIS PPM), industry standards (including MFDA By-laws), legal regulations and applicable securities legislation.
On-the-job training and short-term courses or programs specific to the investment industry will be required.
