***Jr Accountant/Admin Assistant needed***
Local Company Big Idea Accounting & Management Solutions is looking for a Jr Accountant/Admin Assistant. The ideal candidate must have great communication and analytical skills, be a self-starter, outgoing and personable with an ability to interact with clients.
You will be providing administrative support for various clients’ duties to include but not limited to: data entry, creating documents for clients, sorting and organizing documents received and preparing packages for clients, mail distribution, photocopying, and filing. Opportunity to grow and receive training for accounting duties such as preparation of personal tax, corporate tax, GST returns, payroll and financial statements.
As our **Junior Accountant/Admin Assistant** you;
• Are well organized and passionate about accounting
• Possess a diploma or experience in an accounting
• Have accounting software experience (preferably Sage 50 and/or QuickBooks Online)
• You have exceptional computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• General understanding of accounting processes
• Can prioritize projects, and are a quick learner
• Have well-developed computer skills
• Possess strong data entry skills
• An ability to work under pressure and problem-solve
• Be able to multitask and consistently meet deadlines
• Have a strong attention to detail

**Job Hours**: part-time (could lead to full time) 24+ hours/week
**Job Location**: Langdon, AB with occasional travel to Calgary
