It is finally Summertime and we are having a 25% OFF Summer Special on very popular Bag Kits. For workshops or as a ‘do it yourself' project.

Just to be 100% clear....Tribal Spirit is NOT opening up a Summer Camp. But we are here for you to help out with your summer gatherings.

Everything included (with detailed instructions) to make your own deer or moose leather hand bag or drum bag. We would recommend deer for younger people. Moose sewing needs a little more finger strength. SO. younger that 8...go for deer...older than that should be fine with moose.

Our new Bag Kits are designed as a workshop. We have included very clear instructions, sinew, glovers needle, small piece of thick moose to make a thimble and all the leather cut to size and appropriate shape. We have also included instructions so that people can personalize their bags with either fringe or left as a ‘live edge’.

We have a new batch of Brain Tanned Deer and seriously....the most bestest Brain Tan ever. This past fall hunting season we selected specifically perfect clean hides for our Brain Tanning. So as you can see….they are ultra sweet!! These sell out...btw..

Deer And Moose Leather Crafting/Scrap Bag Sale!! Our infinitely popular 2 for 1 sale is on NOW. (and we will sell out). Take a look at this picture. I want to point out 2 things, 1) look at the sizes of those cut offs. We have been cutting out drum bag kits all month (yes we have those too) and so we create a TON of Off Cuts. But these pieces are really respectable sizes for crafting project...which is why we sell out every time we offer this sale. AND 2) We call this pile the Leather Nest...we sit in the middle of this enormous pile of leather and grab of couple of pieces and turn and grab and turn and fill bags of Cut Offs. Black BEAR DRUMS are in stock now. From Fall 2025 hunt here in Quebec we worked really hard to get our #1 butcher to VERY carefully skin the hides. And they are amazing..thick, huge and going to be some of the best drums we have ever made.
Black Bear drums are my absolute favourite drums to both pull and play. They are medicine drums that do amazing work and are very powerful. Bear skin is different than other hides. They are very patterned and dramatic. These bear are legally harvested for food as part of the Quebec spring bear hunt. ALSO We are offering a promotion on our NEW Patchwork Drum Bags with Bear Drum so you can get ad Bear Drum and add on a bag...with bear graphic or not...as you wish.
