Rouleau Rumble…. That’s a wrap! Sponsored my nephews hockey tournament for the weekend. I give credit to rink attendants, refs, coaches, parents and the players. It was a long 48 hours for me but it was an entirely new experience! Running the tournament to make sure it ran as smooth as possible was a challenge, it was accepted and completed! It was great meeting so many new people and feeling apart of the community… let’s be honest hockey is a huge part of the Saskatchewan community and I am glad to be a part of it! Congrats to the first, second and third place teams. Best of luck for the rest of the year to all the teams that came, you played hard every game. I was cheering for all of you!

As the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month passes please take a moment to reflect on all those that have served not just in WW1 but to all those that lost their lives serving so we can have our freedom.

It Won’t Happen To Me… Will It?

If you’re still on the fence about the importance of purchasing critical illness insurance, here are a few stats to consider:

For a 35-year-old in good health, 31% of men and 23% of women will suffer a critical illness before age 65.

2 in 5 Canadians are expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.

It's cheaper then you think.
Term 10 $100,000 = $27.02/m
Term 20 $100,000 = $33.35/m
Level to 75 $100,000 = $63.09/m
All rates are for a 30 year female, non-smoker, standard coverage.

Did you know that September is National Insurance Month in Canada? This is a great opportunity for us to sit down and review your insurance policies and make sure they are up to date and continue to meet your needs. Insurance is one of those things that we often take for granted, but it can make a huge difference in our lives when we need it the most.

There are many factors to consider when reviewing your insurance, but here are some of the most important ones:

Your life stage and goals. Have you recently married, divorced, had a child, bought a house, started a business, or retired? These are some of the life events that can affect your insurance needs and preferences.

Your assets and liabilities. How much are your assets worth and how much do you owe? This can help you determine how much insurance you need to protect your financial situation and your loved ones.

Your risks and exposures. What are the potential risks and threats that you face in your personal and professional life? This can help you decide what types of insurance you need and how much coverage you want.

Your budget and affordability. How much can you afford to pay for your insurance premiums and deductibles? This can help you balance your financial goals and the best type of insurance to help you achieve those goals.

Let’s review and make sure you and your family are taken care of.
