Alexis Harrington founded Sand Dollar Bookkeeping in 2015 after 7 years as an accounting assistant with The Coast Group. In this job, Alexis’ work experience went well beyond bookkeeping to personal and corporate tax preparation, non-resident filings, and estate tax preparation. This experience gives Alexis the knowledge to bookkeep with confidence and to a higher level knowing exactly what accou

nting staff are looking for. It also highlighted that the businesses that were succeeding were working with good a bookkeeper. Keen to work one on one to help develop strong small businesses in the community, she opened Sand Dollar Bookkeeping. Alexis has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of British Columbia and a Diploma in Business Administration from Capilano University. When not working to help her clients’ companies succeed, Alexis loves to be outside. She's an avid traveler, keen photographer, and lover of nature. She’s a director for the Sargeant Bay Society, a volunteer for the Sunshine Coast Botanical Garden, and past director for the Sunshine Coast Natural History Society.
